Hi all, just got my Walbro 255 inline pump to put on my 94 5.0. The instructions just talk about "replacing it with the other pump" and it just has the brackets and some fittings.

Soo... how am I suppose to install it? Do i need some type of installation kit, or do I they expect you to go buy fuel line, connectors, etc. and rig something up? Thanks for any info.....

I just swapped out my stocker for a walbro 255lph pump last week. It took about an hour. The hardest part is dropping the tank. After that it's cake. Just make sure you are low on gas before attempting to drop the tank. FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS.

I've already done the INTAKE install.. i'm talking about the INLINE pump. Like the T-Rex.. but this INLINE walbro 255 instructions just say to "replace the other pump", which we do not have an inline pump to "swap" out.

SO it looks like I need to fabricate something up, no? thanks!

Okay well talked to some people and they just said to go to the parts store and buy the fuel line. Connect the new line from the fitting at the top of the tank to this pump, and the connect the new line from this pump to the inlet on the filter. To use 10ga wire, and/or you can run a relay of the factory pumps wire.

Anyone have any comments on this suggestion? Should I run some seperate wire back for the pump, or use a relay to power it?
