He didn't fix it -- I think they make the original tech do the fixing . But he did find out what was going on -- I can't really describe it correctly, but it has something to do with a bracket, bushings, and the pinion. Something about the bracket is backwards, and as a result there is an air gap between the bushing and the pinion, which is where the clunk is coming from.

I'm happy that it will be getting fixed now. If only Wally had been doing it in the first place it would never have been an issue. I was getting just a wee bit frustrated, as Keith can attest to .

Now I owe Wally a case of beer.

You might have more friends but my friends didn't post anything about my car. Bite you! My mouth is not big enough. I wouldn't call it a fire when someone can put it out with a bottle of coke.

Am I the only one that see's the smoke in her sig. I thought this was tire smoke until I was told the real story But almost anyone will stop for a blond on the side of the road The fire seems a little overkill
