I have a Steeda 19 cam....... Trying the Intake first and then going on.... Thought about a custom cam ?? I have been told the Cobra was a bottle neck. Guess I will find out.

Dude, I have a VERY similar setup to yours. You do NOT need to spend the money on different heads, cam, or anything really expensive to pick up 35 HP on your setup. Do the Holley Systemax Intake and a 75mm TB and you will achieve your goal. Talk to the guys at Anderson Ford Motorsport and they will tell you that they have dyno a gazillion engines like yours and mine and the Holley intake ourperforms the Eddelbrocks, TFS, and all others hands down every time on blown 347s. By like 40 HP! To illustrate the different just an intake can make, I just swapped my TFS Track Heat intake out for a new TFS R-series (runner style, not the box) and picked 42 HP. I also switched from a high flow aluminum water pump to a Mezier electric unit, and ditched the Flowmasters in favor of Borlas, but the intake is responsible for about 30 HP out of the 42. The Holley Systemax will out perform the TFS by a little- I just used it because my engine is pretty much all TFS, fuel lines, rails, pumps, heads (190cc), valve covers, etc, so I wanted to stick with the TFS theme. So there you go!

And about boost, most people seem to misunderstand what boost is and how it works. It is a function of your engine's capability to consume the air and fuel that is being forced into it at any given engine speed. An engine that flows more will hold less boost, but still make more power. My 347/Vortech V1-B made 12psi with the Track heat intake. Changing only the intake to the R-Series dropped the max boost a couple of psi, but made more HP. Don't get hung up on boost. Air flow, forced or naturally aspirated, is what makes power. Get the Holley intake and a 75mm TB and you will pick up a bunch of horses. By the way, does anybody want a black powder coated Trick Flow Track Heat intake with only 300 miles on it?

Decided to also get a new TB what is a good 75mm for a 94/5?? Looks like stack or BBC??
Pros and Cons. ThinkI will use a Trickflow 75mm elbow??

I have a trick flow elbow and a BBK 75mm throttle body. But I'm not sure if either of those is the "best" you can get for a 94/95.

i have a stack racing and it works fine. but really if i was to do it again, i would get an accufab. we've discussed this before and i called around to a bunch of the manufacturers and found out that the accufab flows more CFM than all the others at the same size level.

They don't make one for a 94-95.... At least I can't find one.???

The BBK will work fine. Aside from the Accufab, they are all about the same. I wouldn't be surprised if they were all made by the same company.

Kurt, i'm not going to say yes and i'm not going to say no. China is a big country but yet not at the same time....

i'm with Chris, convert to fox and be done with it. if you really don't want to then just get whatever floats your boat, they're all the same.

Ok, I agree with that. Steer clear of the Chinese ones. Bbk atuff is made in America, can't go wro.g with that. My Bbk 70mm is like 13 years old at least, and still works like new. I'm getting no vacuuum on my stroker motor, so I'm sure it will flow enough for your blown engine.

Fox swap all the way...

Accufab, Wilson, or Holley TB....would be my choice. Id go 75mm, or 80mm and open the Holley up.

I don't agree. I think it's a huge investment of time and money just to put one particular brand of throttle body on the car, that will probably not yield 1 hp difference, and will lead to all kinds of other hassles. But you all know my feelings on fox throttle bodies. One of the huge advantages of having an SN is to not have to deal with that stupid Fox throttle body.

As far as quality goes, I feel the Accufab, Wilson and Holley throttle bodies are the top. I did a little chassis dyno testing between a Accufab, BBK on a high rpm NA car and saw gains. I even tested the 90mm race 75mm blade Accufab against the reg 75mm Accufab, we saw a loss of 8hp with the race TB, turbulance was the only thing we could come up with as we have seen gains with them on boosted set-ups.

Im not a huge 94-95 fan (sorry I guess I shouldn't have said that over here ) while I love the cable arrangment, that elbow sucks limits flow when you get to a high hp level and is always in the way for valve covers.
