want different h pipe!!

i went under my car today and noticed i have 6 catalytic converters!!!im sure ull alll knew this but i hadnt had this car for long so i didnt know.my question is what h pipe or x pipe comes with less catalytics???and also will it pass emissions!!will it pass emissions with 2 cats???i bet that should seriously be hurting performance too.when i took the car to get 40 series flos to get installed i noticed it didnt gained much sound and i doubt any performance so if i can pass a emmisions with some type of h pipe i would definitely get rid of the stock one!!!

some H/X pipes come with no cats or cats welded in.

and while H/X pipes with or without cats will still more than likely pass the sniffer test, they will NOT pass visual.

so you might as well get a H/X without cats, cause youre gonna have to put the stocker back on come smog time. unless you dont want to be too super loud, then get the ones with the cats.

btw im getting MAC O/R H with the cats soon also.

MRT also makes a great h-pipe. its the only SS h-pipe on the market. the material wont give you any performance gains, but it wont rust or corrode like aluminum will over time in certain environments. MRT "claims" 9rwhp on a stock GT, which is more than most X-pipes give you. you can get it with or without 2 hi-flow cats.

you have to keep the stock one in CA. there are NO aftermarket catted H or X pipes that are legal for use in CA. the only legal modification is the Magnaflow weld in X pipe that goes in after all 6 stock cats. you will fail smog if you have anything else on there(unless your smog place does an incomplete smog, which if they get caught loose their smog license.
