Hey everyone, hope all is well. I've had my 2012 5.0 for about two months now, and have racked a little more then 7k on it. I do not have the brembo brake package, and am looking to get more bite from my brakes without going with aftermarket rotors (at least for now). What do you guys suggest for a good pad thats only gonna be used on the street. (No track until next year).

Thanks in advance

Hawks and EBC both make really good pads. I run the NAPA premium pads on all my cars and am really pleased with them. I think they are better than a lot of the aftermarket pads.

Hey, MJT, in my 04 GT I was running the Cragar drilled and slotted
front rotors; not too hugely expensive and put in the EBC 'yellow'
pads which are track pads but still great on the street. I could feel
a very noticeable increase in stopping power with pretty much no
fade after several hard test stops. Also, the EBC pads were easy
on the rotors with no gouging. The Hawk pads are great; most of
the racer guys like them but they can be harsh on rotors! Hope this
helps! When I ordered my 2012 5.0, I got the Brembos...they are
fantastic! I have been told they won't stop you any better than the
stock system but there is NO fade and this keeps confidence very
high. Smooth as could be! Try the EBC's...I loved them.
