Hey guys im looking for pics of where you guys mounted your boxes at tryin to get ideas of where i want mine to go.

dammit. I used to have pictures but I lost them on all my computer. I put mine in the inner fender on the drivers side. Completely hidden.

yea i like it there i have seen another pic like that but what about the wiper motor????

There is no problem with anything in the way, Just dont use 6in+ long screws .

I put mine on top of the windshield wiper fluid tank, which I'm currently using as my coolant overflow tank. When money allows though, I'll be painting the box to match my car and recessing it in the fender where the battery use to be.

and yes it does become a problem in that place when you install a strut tower brace. I just found that out last week. This weekend i'm going to move to where the battery is and putting the battery in the trunk.(assuming i get the battery box i asked for for christmas)

putting it in the engine bay is a bad idea because its a proven fact that the reason why these boxes go bad is because of excess engine heat too close to the box killing the electronics inside...id mount it in the glove box as mentioned, or under the dash on the inside of the car

Yeah im going to put one on in the spring and its going inside the car.

good info. i got one and now i know to keep it out of the engine bay. how about in a wheel well?

i like the looks of it in the engine bay back by the original strut tower brace but that area is not flat...? do you guys just put the top 2 screws in it?

I put mine under the passenger seat inside the cab. Ran all the wire under the carpet, through a hole in the firewall and along the back of the engine to the battery and coil. Nobody knows I have it.
