I want to now move up to a 150 shot on my 04. the 100 shot was running great i loved it but now am wanting more. Do you guys think my stock block will hold up to a 150. i will be tuning it myself with a wideband. I will do a few runs on a 100 shot and check out things are going then pull some more timing and do some more testing. And then put the 150 jet in and pray she holds up.

dont really have money for a new block at the moment. but if she lets go i guess ill be going to get a student loan to drop an mmr block in there

so what are your opinions guys?

mine seemed to handle the 100 very nicely. pulled some timing added a lil bit of fuel on the predator and she ran good at the track.

dont do it.......seems easy to just say you'll get a student loan, but then you'll be out of a car for a while also.....youre getting greedy with the power lol

100 is pretty good; I am nervous to even go up to that big of a shot... are you running wet or dry?

If you do plan on running the 150 jets, then you are going to want a fuel pump upgrade. I got my focus svt pump off these message boards for $75 shipped. I wouldn't risk it with the stock fuel pump.

Getting a bit greedy on an untuned car. Stick with the 100 shot man--no need to waste a motor that doesn't have problems currently.
