I want to put a 351c back into my Mustang, thats what it came from the factory with. Its only got a 302 right now...Anyways, it would be my first motor buildup, and I think I can handle it, v8's are farely easy...So my question is this, where do I get the parts? I want to go used, and cheap where possible. I've tried a few local junkyards, they have nothing. I assume thats probably my best bet though. Also, what kind of HP does your basic 351c have? I'd like to spend about 1500 dollars if possible. And how do I tell if the transmission thats in it now will bolt up to a 351? All I can tell you is its an automatic, but once again, it was swapped in somewhere along the line, because there is still parts of clutch linkage on the frame, and the clutch pedal was welded to the firewall at one point.
