Want To Knock On 350hp's Door

I asked this same question in the Power Adders forum then I remembered not many people cruise over to that spot. What would it take to get around 350rwhp with a blower pullied for 8psi. What other mods would it take to get around that number? I want around that much, then its to the suspension.

Supposedly the Vortech V2 SQ-trim kit adds 126hp to an otherwise stock 302. ( http://www.vortechsuperchargers.com/products/yourcar/86-93mustang_ho.html ) Assuming that your 302 is putting 190hp to the wheels, that would put you at 316rwhp. Or you could go with the SQ kit with an aftercooler which they claim adds 155rwhp, putting you right at your desired 350hp mark.

Changing your heads, intake, cam, and exhaust to help the engine breathe better should result in much better numbers than the 126hp or 155hp Vortech claims. I'd take the time putting together the parts to make your engine breathe well with a supercharger rather than bolting a blower onto a stock motor. Instead of going for 350hp, why not go for 400+?

BTW, for you hardcore charger guys, I can add an aftercooler to my car cant I? How much does one cost? I emailed the place where I got my blower but I never got a email return.

yea u can get an aftercooler for your setup, vortech sells the kit, and youll find one on ebay once in a while (i got mine from there), youll have to relocate the battery, unless u want to mount the resevoir somewhere else

Relocation of the battery is in future plans anyways. Can anyone give me an estimate on price?

Although the aftercooler works OK, going Air/Air would be much better...

Dave do you have an intake yet? What are you doing about the fuel components?

Stickers add alot of horsepower...
