IMHO don't do it. I've had friends with aftermarket sunroofs and they always leaked. I even had one friend basically forced to silicone his sunroof shut to keep out leaks. It was brutal.

Nothing is good as OEM, and i think an aftermarket sunroof would lower the car's overall value. If i was inthe market for a Fox and saw one with an aftermarket sunroof, i'd walk away.

You could always do what this guy did

mike for some reason yours are the only pics i can see with stangnet mobile. as for the guy doing the ttop swap he has some cajones to hack a car like that. he is doing it the right way which in the end it might be cheaper to just buy a ttop car.

Yeah, it does that to me as well when I view SN on my phone. It has to do with the way you link pictures. If you link pictures that you have attached to a thread on stangnet, you can view it on SNmobile. However, if you link to an outside source, you can't view it.

I agree, that guy has guts to have up a nice SVO to make a t-top car. But, T-top SVO's are rare, only a handful made, so he will have a very unique car.

Early Fox 5.0's came with them, but they are tough to find. I'm thinking '79 and 80 probably.

Fox coupes even came with OEM sunroofs. Friend had an '82 coupe with one. Pretty cool

I have an OEM sunroof on my 88GT, and was wondering where to find a replacement latch mechanism? My sunroof will NOT stay popped up, nor will it stay clamped shut which is a real pain in the u know what when I wash the car. Searched 50resto, but didn't find anything....still searching
