Wanting to paint door cups, how do i get that rubber crap off of them?

There's no need to send them all the way to me to paint them... Like I said above, I would buy new ones for 99-04 stangs from 5.0 resto.. Otherwise, scratches and stuff WILL show through, unless you use many coats of a buildable primer...I did use a spray gun but you can rattle can prime them and shoot them with some Duplicolor paint from a parts store.. I would use a heat gun set on low to get the primer and paint to stick inside the pocket better.. I was able to do this and have no runs and even color distribution.. They won't be shiny unless you clearcoat them, which can also be purchased in a spray can from duplicolor....OR a bodyshot could do it for you.. You can go in and find out when they are painting a bright silver car and just have them shoot the inserts then... It will save you alot of dough this way because they don't have to specially mix up paint for you. The paint I used is a Mazda silver... I got if for free from a bodyshop..

The seats are 03 cobra seats.. The full set can be bought used for about $1200 or new for $2000... Not cheap..
