stupid 5-speed CPU is tossing out a code 67 thats putting the kibosh on it, car is an auto now. Ive tried it with the AC off, seems that will throw the code also. seems like i read somewhere that there was a harness under the dash by the pedal assembly that could be jumpered and kill the 67. anyone know anything about this?

White connector, that plugs into the Clutch Pedal Switch. Jumper it and then try the KOER

Clutch_Pedal_Sw_Conns_1.webp

stuck a 15 amp fuse in there and it still gave me the code so i took a piece of copper wire and tried that and still no luck. it is possible that i didnt get the blade of the fuse centered on the harness so ill see if i cant find something else with a wider blade tomorrow.

Probably an open in the wiring or connection somewhere. The Easy fix is to Ground PIN 30 at the ECM, this will force the ECM to think its in Nuetral and let the KOER test start. Its not the correct way, but it works.

ok, how do i ground the pin? Is it numbered so im not guessing at which one it is?
I guess the easy way would be to lay my hands on a auto ecm...

thanks joe, im going to tinker with that harness, i didnt have a flash light so im not sure the condition of the connectors. If it has power and is working properly would it have 5v ref on it like the tps that i could check with a dvm?
