well after researching for a while on the boards and reading some posts where some guys didnt have any problems bolting their prochamber to the bbk longtubes, i went ahead and bought that combo, and found a rude awakening whent he prochamber was a couple inches too short on one side, or an inch too narrow (either way it didnt fit) i tried bending it but that only threw off the hangers and it was a nightmare, but i am determined to make this fit, so im going to take the chamber to a shop and have em fab up a new pipe that will fit to the headers. :bang: :bang: this was a really frustrating weekend, i expected everything to be done in a day, but after the clutch job, rear main seal and headers went in, the prochamber ruined my whole weekend and week until i get it to the exhaust shop. so just a friendly reminder, on an 89gt with chrome 1 5/8 into 2.5 collectors bbk headers, do not just "bolt up" to a 2.5 in mac longtube prochamber. but i am going to make an exhaust clip of it after its all done. 1 5/8 bbks, 2.5 into 2.5 in prochamber into 40 series flowmasters with 2.5 tail pipes.

Heres the deal...

Mac long tubes and BBK long tubes are different. They end at different locations. You have a prochamber for Mac LTs. Im not sure if they make one for BBKs, but they are different. You did not research it enough, because I would have informed you of this if I had seen a post about it.
