i didn't see it go across the block but i saw the segment where they were talking about the paint color on the 69 CJ GT vert. i'm interested to know about it as well.
Yeah, there was one; I think it sold pretty low. Seller was some guy from the Midwest; didn't hear the sale price, but he had a bunch of documentation (old Mustang mags in the trunk) that covered the PO's mods to it.
You know I'm messing with you, right?
BTW, "in the trunk" was Mrs StDr's contribution to this post
If you got the Barrett Jacksons website, click on 2008 Carlist, then search by make or model, a list comes up, its third from the bottom and is showing $185,000.
There is some discussion on this car at 428cg.org that the car may have been a fake, and it originally was a 302 car. Have no clue if that is true or not, considering there was supposed to be lots of documentation on this car including Marti Report, buildsheet and invoice.

Could have been a renumbered car where someone has the rare VIN number cut out of a trashed car and replaced them with a good donor car. You can get all kinds of paper and documents no problem at all saying that that VIN is such and such rare Kind of makes you wonder how many of those could have passed through.

Well Marti posted on VMF about this car. Basically he said it was 1 of zero, so make you best guess about the authenticity of this car based on his extensive database.
