Was YOUR supercharger worth it?

Even though the centrifical superchargers cost less, most of my driving and competing comes at lower speeds...

Around the city and maybe the occassional track visit will still have me operating in the 0 to 100 MPH range...

With the said, the root style blower met me needs...

I had the saleen supercharger installed by a Ford SVT dealer that warrantied their work...

Love the performance!!!

Since I drive the 2005 GT w/automatic, any power charge I can get right out of the box will help me more than the power charge coming on at 75 MPH...

Get the root style, Kenny Bell, Whipple, Saleen, etc are the best choices!!!!!!

D

You have twin screw, not a roots blower. The KB, Whipple and Saleen are all twin screws. Eatons are roots blowers.

I've always been curious as to how SC cars feel under normal rpm's compared to stock. I realize there are differences among different type SC's but in general how does it feel? Can you feel any SOTP difference just driving it normal around town?

Not that I'll ever SC mine, too much $$$$ for me. Just curious though.

Dear Blacksheep06:

When driving normally my Saleen SC runs just like the stock engine setup with the feeling that a 900 lb Gorilla is trying to get out of his cage...

And HE IS TOTALLY PISSED OFF!!!

When I stick the throttle, the GORILLA GETS OUT!!!

Okay I'll chime in again.....

"Hey I just passed that M6...hey I just passed that '05 Z06...hey I just passed that LS2 Goat."

It's worth it.

As for autos versus 5pds....get a GOOD converter from TCI or Emerald and then laugh all the way to the ET board as you leave those 5spd guys at the tree as they miss shift....HAR! ;)
