I washed my engine at the carwash tonight.. I avoided spraying the dizzy and power distribution center, but now when I start the car, it runs fine for 10 seconds, then the Check engine light flashes 4 times and it kicks the idle up to 1800 rpm for about 15 seconds, stutters, and goes back to normal..

Any ideas??

Sounds like it's going into KOEO self check. Did you get the dianostic connector wet? Just a guess.

Usually it means you got the distributer wet, down below the cap.

Winner Winner Chicken Dinner

Pulled the Diagnostic plug's cap and it was filled with water.. I figured if I'd wait overnight it'd go away whatever it was but it's beautiful out and I really wanted to go for a cruise..

Thanks!!!
