When I try to clear my windshield with wiper fluid, it just dribbles out instead of spraying. Could the pump be dying or something clogged? Best solution?
Disconnect the fluid line as close to the pump as you can, have a buddy watch it while you try to get it to spray. From there you'll be able to determine if its a clog or the pump.
Normally its just gunk in the lines... take the hose loose from the resivoir bottle, take an air hose, and use low pressure and blow the hose out. if you feel alot of air coming out of the nozzle then you know its probably the pump. if little or no air comes out, you have a clog in your line. take the lines apart all the way to the washer nozzles, blow each section out, and see if anything comes out. if not, put the air hose right to the nozzle (with the hose removed) and blow it out in both directions. 9 times outta 10, its a clog from either sediment in the tank, or the line getting old and comin apart inside.
