I don't really care for that show anymore .... but that was BY FAR the best race I've seen on there. That notch was sweet.

Camaro driver (Pro 5.0): "But it's still running!"

Show host: "Yeah, but it's leaking oil all over the track."

LMAO.

i dont agree with giving car lengths and stuff, but its cool to actually see some real good footage of some sweet cars at the track

When the Mustang would launch , I would almost get a swelling in my pants. I wish that they would have had a good heads-up race with both cars running heathy. Both of those cars were very quick.

here's the real question: How much are those guys being paid to be on the show? I really don't think its for a chance at another car (given that is a bonus for winning).

Im willing to bet they see at least 5,000 for showing up and all depending on the car they bring.

I know if i had a car making huge power i wouldn't sacrifice it to a competition with few regulating rules.

I saw a preview for a future episode .... I believe there was another Fox. Except this one was a hatch car .... someone confirm this. If so ... I need to record that one, too.

i was wonderingt he same thing, but a few episodes ago they had two sport bikes racing (worth 40-45K each) and what they did instead of putting up their own bikes is each paid 1/2 for a new GSXR 1000 and winner got that bike instead of the others race bike

well you sign over your title to the show before you race. so you don't technically own your car during the racing. whoever wins gets both titles. and yes they do get paid but its not like a for coming on the show, its more for royalties. everytime the show airs, they get a percentage.

you get to keep the car if you want, or they can sell it back to the guy. i think the selling back thing is what people get confused about. its not hollywood BS.

that makes sence... I wonder on average how much they make off royalties, just curious if they would maybe make up the money in the car at least.
