Ok...so this past weekend I was under the mustang changing the oil. I had just driven it so the engine was still hot. I had only the passanger side on my ramps and I noticed water dripping down my h pipe until it got close to the cats then it would fizzle (from the heat) and drop off. This is probably a stupid question but...does that mean I have an exhaust leak at my passanger side header? My car doesn't sound like it has a leak. Any thoughts??

Had you just been running your air conditioner? Pretty much all cars will drip condensation from their AC unit after you shut it off, mine does just as you described when I have run the AC. If so, then its normal.

Well, that could be. Which side is the A/C on though? Like I said, this was dripping from my passanger side header area? It was running right down my h pipe until it hit the catalytic converter. If the A/C condensor is on that side then that totally makes sense. Not sure though.

Yep, its normal. Condensation drips from the AC on the passenger side. It also drips out from the cats. When I was working at Ford it would get sooo annoying. Sitting there under the car and water keeps dripping on your head the whole time

That is such good news! I was afraid I had a leak...that would suck!

Yeah, it's funny, when I shut my doors after driving with the A/C on I can hear it sizzle. I guess when the water from the A/C hits the h pipe.

Thanks for the help guys!
