I was wrong. The right one had a half inch of water in it the first time I washed the car.

My Originals from 1992 never have taken on any water, so if you buy REAL OEM Ford Replacements they should not leak.

My original Ford lights never leaked and the Ford lights I put in 4 yrs ago have not leaked either. They cost more, but IMHO they are better than aftermarket.

You need vent holes somewhere for evaporated water to go. Factory lights don't do this b/c they have Jshaped port holes in the sides of the main head lamp. My passenger side which was replaced after a wreck two years ago didn't have this. I drilled 3 holes in the bottom of the lamp and problem solved.
