Water pump bolts

Do any of them actually thread into the timing cover? I broke 2 of them off, both by the drivers side water passage. Pulling on the TC, the bottom bolt moves as if it either is loose enough or it's stuck in the cover. The other doesn't look like its budging at all.
In other words, if I pry the cover off, are there internal threads on the TC that I'm going to ruin?
I'm off to buy an EZ out kit, but I don't know if that will do much good - its soaked in PB Blaster, I tried to torch it, I cut a slot in the bolt and tried to use a screwdriver - not budging!

4 WP bolts go to the block and don't thread to the timing cover - these are the two on each side around the water passageways. The rest do thread to the timing cover.

If you have any bolt you can see - grab w/ vise grips and twist. If not, remove all the remaining bolts and take off the WP and timing cover - this can be done with the broken bolts in place as they only thread to the block and are now essentially studs.

Those bolts typiacally rust inside the WP and timing cover bolt holes and sometimes the rust can make them stick to the WP or cover - but they are not threaded to either, only the block.

When reassembling make sure to use plenty of Rtv around the gaskets to keep it from happening again.

Yeah, I was able to pry it out enough to see that both bolts are still in the block. I was able to drill one out (breaking the cover in the process.....) the other is still stuck. I'll have to get my long pry bar to get it out and get another timing cover. Anyone have one for sale?
Was hoping to have it running again today, oh well.

If there is enough of the bolt sticking out you can weld a nut to it and then you should be able to get them out.
