water pump install

what's goin on everyone..i'm back yet again w. another question. my water pump recently went out, like at 5 am while i was drivin back from the gf's house (sucky eh?) , so after lettin it cool down..i got to orderin a new water pump. my question is, how difficult is it to install? is there a page/link where it more/less explains how to do it? i only bought the water pump, do i need anything else? the tubing seems to be ok, i havent picked up the pump so i dunno if it came w. a gasket or not..but anything else? thanks in advance!

I just did mine this past weekend, here's the steps:
1. Take off upper radiator hose
2. Disconnect CCRM from radiator overflow tank
3. Take out overflow tank
4. Disconnect and remove fan
5. Put a pan under the car and remove Lower radiator hose and the other two hoses going to the water pump
6. Unbolt water pump

That's about it, just sure you get a new gasket in there then just reverse above steps and you're done.

workin on it as we speak. those damn bolts are hard to get to but so far so good..going to pick the other one up in a bit..thanks for the reply and i'll let ya'll know how it ends up

you've got to use some sealant too if you didn't know, on the gasket that comes with the pump... one of the most straightforward jobs

oh, and make sure you scrape off the old gasket REALLY WELL with a razor blade making sure not to knotch the metal
