Water Pump...Please Help

I find it tough to believe, Advance Auto shows it for $99 also. I thought that I had gotten mine for 59 somewhere, oh well.

Go to www.summitracing.com and they have a ford 94-95 water pump for about $50. They aren't that hard to replace all you have to do is take the belt off, remove the pulley, hoses and then swap it out. I did it in a couple of hr's in my apartment parking lot.

You can get a remanufactured pump at any of those parts stores for under $50. I just replaced mine and bought the pump from Pep Boys for $30. Granted it aint new and it aint anything fancy but I dont care as long as it works. 
Its really not all that hard. The hardest parts are scraping the gasket off (major pain in the ass!) and refilling the cooling system once you are done. Other than that, its a piece of cake.

bro....it's NOT easy....i don't know who said it was, unless you're a professional mechanic with access to a lift. doing this job from the top, SUCKS! The water pump itself has like eight different bolts, all with unequal lenghts. you need to yank the belt, and the crank pulley, making sure you mark where the exact spot was that you took it off. also, prepare for the antifreeze to dump all o're the place. get a new thermostate while you're at it. get some tunes, and a couple of friends to ballbust with, cause scraping off that old gasket it gonna bust your balls!

Agreed... get some tunes and some freinds to bs with you as you do it... helps the time go by.. hell keep a couple cold ones handy incase you get frustrated. Just make sure you use a thin layer of siclicone on both sides of the gasket when going back together with it.

Last night I change my wather pump , I paid 99.95 + tax in AutoZone,
I change with my self in 2 hours

When you do replace the pump do yourself a big favor and get a peice of cardboard of somthing like it. Stick the water pump bolts in the cardboard when you take them out, so you can see exactly where they go. The job is really not that bad, I would agree that scraping all that gasket material off is the worst part.
I also got a high flow one from Stewart Components ($75). You don't need a lift, it's not that bad. I did have to take off my crank pulley to get out the bottom bolt, but that's not a big deal. If you don't want to use cardboard, just put the bolts in the new pump as you take them out, simple. The old gasket is the longest part of the job.

You guys marking the bolts are going a little extreme... Its not hard at all to figure out which bolts go where. I bought a stainless steal bolt kit putting my engine together and it was a piece of cake figuring out were things went.
Anyways like said before you can get one at summit or jegs for under 50 bucks and its a Ford motorsport piece.

Like red94fiveo say and I'm use peice of cardboard (or box) and stick bolts so I can know wher they goes
You have to take crank pully off because there is one bolt of water bump(on bottom) begind crank pully and you need help with pully tensioner , I did with my self using prey bar and push tensioner with my sholder so I have bothe hands free for water pump bolt under tensioner

Water pump is only a couple of bolts. Just make sure you know which bolt goes where. A-1 Cardone Industries (company I work for) has our pumps 58-498 with gasket and 3 year warranty for around $40. The pump has a new roller/roller bearing and seal. It's just as good as a new OE unit for a bit less. I have one on my car which had a blower with zero problems.
Oh and the 93 pumps are totally different from the 94-95's.

When my pump goes I think I'm going to look into an electric unit. I know they are more expensive, but I'd like the extra HP from it.
