Water pump question?

When re-installing the water is there a backing plate that attaches to the water pump?

No I just installed a new water pump on mine a few months ago and there was not a backing plate on mine.

I forgot its not an sn95 pump its a fox pump. ill go to the other forum

it should bolt right up to the timing cover, theres a recess in that for the water to flow

Fox pump has a backing plate. You dont need to mess with it though.
