Water Pump??

Does the 92 2.3 N/A use the same water pump as the 5.0?? someone told me it does but i doubting that is true.

also how hard is it to change the water pump? is the only thing that needs to come off the pulley??

No !!! They are totally different well atleast the ones I've seen The water pump is pretty easy to change just drain the coolant and unbolt it. Its been so long since I looked under my 93' that I can't remember how the belts are on it lol I think you just remove tention on the alternator side and slip that belt off. Then remove the radiator hose once the coolant is drained.

Very simple and very cheap also. I purchased one through Autozone or Advance about a year ago for like $12 LOL

by TS i am assuming you mean the thermostat? but yes i was planning on that eventhough it was replaced last month. they are cheap so it is no big deal.

i too would like to know how to get a 12 dollar water pump. sure would save me abotu 50 bucks

I'm not sure they're 12.00 bux but I'm pretty sure they're not 50.00+. I think I payed 25.00 for mine but its been some time so don't qoute me.

As for the TS yes you are right in assuming thermostat. When you put the new one in be sure to not to block the heater tube on the water neck. My SVO wouldn't blow hot air to save its life until I poped off the TS and tuned it like 90 deg so it didn't block that tube.

autozone has region specific pricing... what might be $12 in his area, might be $500 in your area... I drove 5 miles and the price on a flexplate was a $40 difference.

changing a waterpump is super fricking easy... pull off the belt, pull off the pulley, pull off the radiator hose and heater core hose, unbolt the waterpump, get the surface clean, put some high temp silicone on the surface, and on the water pump surface, put the gasket on, and bolt it up and just get the bolts tight, dont torque them down crazy tight... put the pulley, hoses, and belt back on, wait an hour or so for the silicone to cure, and fire it up. wait for the temp to get hot, fill up the radiator to the top and then check for leaks every once in a while for the next day or so...
