water pump

have a 96 with v6 replacing blown head gasket there is a pipe from the water pump to the back of the block took out the bolts that hold it down doesnt want to move any direction is there a trick to get this thing out

Not trying to be an ass but you might try the V6 forum for this. You would probably get some responses there quicker than you would here.

Soak it with some WD40. Those corrode in there pretty good, and that is how we get them out. Twist, turn and pull. We work on many 3.8L here at work. Common problem.
