I would image so, but those anyone here run that combo? I'm planning on installing a 180 Thermostat and adding Water Wetter. All other cooling parts are stock. This should not pose a problem for the computer right?

Thanks for your time.

PS Do they make hoses similar to those cooler-running ones that they made for the old 5.0s, but for the 4.6?

Welcome!
That's a good combo, but in this FL heat, it may not matter without the fans coming on early as well. You know, I thought of trying this combo myself without getting my SCT chip reburned...so, let me know how it works, bro!

I run a 180* thermostat with Redline watter wetter and no problems at all. Helps the motor stay cool. The thermostat itself is just a part that opens and allows coolant to flow an cool the motor. Its not going to have effect on the computer nor vice versa. What Twogts4us mentioned above is true. A computer program that will allow the fan to turn on sooner would be good with this combo, but not absolutely needed.

I'm not sure if anyone makes any cooler running hoses for the 4.6ltr and I wouldn't worry about it. The 4.6 motors can run a bit hotter than the 5.0's can and still make great power. Its not like the older 5.0's that constantly have to be cooled.
