Just put in my new fludyne radiator and its sweet cools MUCH better than the stocker but, I was wondering how many bottles of water wetter I should put in it 1 or 2???? Thanks

haha watter wetter or as its reffered to as in my garage at home. A display for somethng bought out of stupidity cause it does not work.

sorry for the double post just noticed something weird. You own the same car i do white cobra with tan cloth well there is 2 of the 66 right there.

it might help to know what concentration of water to coolant you plan to run. I guess you are running mostly water?

The recommended mix is on the bottle so it depends on how much your system holds to get the exact amount to use.

I use this stuff cause it DOES work!!!
I put two bottles in my stang and it runs much cooler everywhere (both highway and street driving). WaterWetter removes the bubbles that form along the surface in the coolant passages that cause hot spots. This makes the coolant more efficient by cooling more surface area. It also is an anti-corrosive additive so you can run straight distilled water. Now, I am not one to use super lubes or Tornado swirling devices but, the Red Line WW works.

As I remember, if you run 50/50 then Water Wetter will basically make it cool as effectively as just plain water would (the coolant counteracts the effectiveness of the wetter) -- so to get maximum benefit you want to run as pure of water as you're comfortable with (but you want -some- coolant, especially with aluminum heads).

Water Wetter works by lowering the surface tension of the water so it makes more contact with every surface. You could do the same thing with some soap .

thanks for the help guys I reckon I will go with two bottles considering the new raditaor is like 2 times the size of the old stocker and I put 1 bottle on that

My temps did not drop 1 degree with two bottles of water wetter in my car. Total horsse ****. Let me guess ur gauge now barely touches the N? Stock gagues are total BS.

I would think with that kind of radiator and a clean cooling system you wouldn't need any.

We have agreed on that in the past and continue to do so.

If one needs a wetting agent, there are other issues to address, IMHO.

i have to use it because the track i go to makes all cars 95 and older use water and water wetter incanse of the cooling system blowing up or something

How was the install of the Fluidyne radiator. I think my 134K mile car is due for a change and want to put one of these in my car. Car is running cool around town, but at highway speeds (and with the air on only) the temp skyrockets to the A on the gauge until the fan kicks on. Weird.

I would first make sure you have the little chin lip spoiler under the car. The fact that you reject heat in town suggests the radiator is capable of doing this. a lack of air flow at speed could cause issues. Or it is simply that the increased RPM's perhaps seen on the highway are overwhelming the radiator.

A radiator upgrade is a wise decision on these things, it seems.

RGS, that is SOP for most tracks.

I doesn't lower your temp, it stops you from over heating- If your cooling system is functional.
