which way should my water pump be rotating from the front of the car? i looked at the oem belt routing, and my belt is routed opposite it appears.

i have the march rod tensioner, and a/c delete ps relocation combo. im using an 68.5" belt i believe that came with it all. it goes from the alt, to the crank, then back up to the water pump and over to the p/s.

i was having heating issues, so i just got a new aluminum radiator and electric fan. i thought about water pump rotation when i got home, so in short, is that my problem? if so, what length do you need for this setup properly routed?

If you are looking straight at the engine the w/p should be turning clockwise. It is possible to put a ccw rotation on. If your setup is the same as in that picture it is normal, stock rotation.

the water pump, standing infront of the car is turning COUNTER clockwise. this is a stock water pump. makes sense why its getting hot now...

anyone run this setup? what length belt do i need? been searching.. no luck

Im confused, is your belts routed like in the picture? Cause that would make the w/p go cw looking straight at the engine. How do you know its a stock pump? J/w ccw and cw pumps look the same just different on the back (impellers)

I am not sure on belt size.

i dont know that it is a stock pump, it was off the engine when i just got the car. i had my gf crank it over while i watched it, spinning counter clockwise standing infront of it.

so i guess i've got to change up my routing..
