dont worry about your man pedal so much...if i had left mine an automatic for just a little longer i could have been able to finish the body and paint sooner...and maybe driven the damn thing before two years had passed.

do everything else first...then when you feel like you have a good looking/strong running overall car, then do your swap.

i honestly never cared for that 86 much either. 4 eyes with fully painted trim look weird to me. and the 16" wheels are KILLING it.

Haha...yeah that car was only partly blue though...the rest flaked off then he primered it...

Nah I mean the 86...the transformation it went through is awesome...it just has those 2 things that peeve me about any car like it (painted moldings on a 4-eye and 16" Cobra R's)

I think some black moldings would go well with the black top, give it that clean original look and some 17" wheels would work wonders on it.

But this thread isnt about the 86, its about the black 89 which looks awesome.

Car looks clean. I just picked up an 88 LX Vert. Paint is very hazy but I started color sanding and buffing it this weekend. Can't wait to finish it now. Amazing how much you can change the look of a car with some elbow grease.

Dude man she looks awesome!! I can do nothing but compliment you on your purchase.. You got a screaming deal for such a nice low mileage car... It had a really nice solid foundation and you're making it look sweet as hell!!!!

Kudos!
