Mine definitely flexes....very noticeably when I pull the rails off with the injectors still in and set it out of the way.

Can anyone confirm that blocking the front feed tube would cause fuel pressure to not rise as vacuum increases (RPMs increase)?

The first time I saw a pic of the front of a TFS intake I was like

You need to send that bad boy back

Hang on guys, My rubber crossover pieces have a piece of the rubber chunked out and it looks like METAL under the rubber. I am pretty sure about that.

Secondly, has anone suggested putting the OLD intake back on? I would, seriously. Especially if I were so PO'd I were thinking of selling. If the problem goes away, send the upper and lower back as defective and get another one shipped out.

Thanks for confirming. I wasn't really sure. I just knew that mine does flex under hard pressure .... and that there is rubber .... so I kinda thought it was a rubber tube. I was wrong.

Nothing at all man....

I've checked everything suggested in this thread and have come up with only one problem- the fuel pressure not changing while revving.

I'm going to have to take it somewhere and have them hook up widebands on both sides and see what's up...

Thinking of upgrading to the R/T Tweecer so I can see what exactly the sensors are saying too....

I have had my fuel rails off several times and my connecting pieces that go from bank rail to bank rail are deff. rubber. When I take off the rails they flop around. The rubber is not hard but it is at the same time flexible and not just alittle. This is a nice topic on the rails...maybe there is an added inner piece of hard line to give shape and added support to the line but not all the way threw from side to side?

I don't think so...it builds pressure fine when it's primed, and it maintains pressure at idle just fine...

Too coincidental for me to buy right now anyway. I figure it has to be related to the manifold swap somehow.

I was hoping to come back and read you found the problem. Putting the old one back on would be a big PITA for a temporary thing, but it would definately cut to the chase.

On another topic, the fuel rail thing is interesting. I'm wondering if they aren't all made the same.

FIXED THE MOTHER****ER!!!!!!11111111111!!!!!!!!1111

The fuel problem was indeed caused by the front fuel rail being "pinched". I sacked up and really ground into the front of the lower intake to where the fuel tube had plenty of room.

Reinstalled, and bam, fuel pressure now acts accordingly when revving and the car feels faster than ever before....wish I would've done this weeks ago. LMAO

Yeah, I've been reading Mustang forums since like 2000 (MustangWorks back in the day...ghosted here and Corral)...know a few local guys with Mustangs...

...and no one has EVER heard of this being a problem. But you all know about my luck... LOL

I'm glad to hear you fixed it Shawn. I installed a TF intake on a local guys car a while back and noticed the clearance problem between the fuel rail, dizzy, and intake and wondered if it'd be a problem... yet I never heard of it being one. As soon as this hot ass weather gets out of here I'd love to see what kind of times you now run.
