Coming up a 2 lane road in the right lane a women goes to the right to stop at the curb I slow down and set to keep going straigh to pass her ,
iust as she gets to the curb she swings hard to go across the double yellow into a driveway , I hit breaks cut real hard and ended up in the foot of the driveway if I wouldn't have swerved the car would be totaled and I would've t boned her I am pissed !!!!

Serious. although it sucks glad no one was hurt. Take some deep breaths and try and relax. Looks like that fender got pushed all the way back to the door. Put it all on her insurance and get all Ford OEM replacement parts. make sure they check all the suspension and K member.

Friend of kine who's a cop picked up my police report today and the cop stated something like the Mercedes making a u turn at the scene of the accident , looking good insurance should love it
Your insurance will actually cover this? State farm told me my old a$$ fox was only covered with liability. Even though I've spent over $20000 on it over the past 4 yrs
I had full coverage on my last one they paid me 5600 for it when it got totaled , I now have a second vehicle so unfortunately I only have liability on both that's how I can afford it , the police report should have the ins company side mostly toward me, I will put a claim in through her policy once they find her at fault and then we will take it from there .

For some reason, at least in my part of Texas, ins companies don't like to spend money on fox bodies
That's why mine has become a garage queen I drive on clear sunny days. And I only go to work and car shows with it....
We both have geico , they called me today and tried to tell me based on photos they have from the scene and out story's I am at total fault I said oh really so the police report that hasn't been sent means nothing ? how can you complete a investigation without a police report that takes over both of our accounts so I just faxed it well see what Monday brings stay tuned

Thanks bro, Like i said we will see, police report usually trumps the storys, the report happends to say she is at fault and i am not, my buddy who is a cop told me what all the codes meant on the sides.
Geico called - they will cover 95 percent of the damage I am only 5 percent at fault , got the estimate 1800 bucks .... car is getting painted again the color will be a surprise prob not gonna happen until April because I am going on vacation end of march for 8 days
I never admitted anything this is what they Are telling me they are going to give me I am going to call Monday and try to fight for the other 5 the estimate was setup before they determined any kind of liability the second time after they had the police report
I'm telling you, police reports don't always get the final say. Take it from someone who does them for a living. I've seen insurance companies screw over people who were totally innocent. We actually had a meeting one day to address how we needed to write reports to limit insurance companies from screwing people over. I would be very happy to go from nothing to 95%. I bet both of you having the same insurance helped out. Either way, good luck with it.
