I don't know why but it just popped in my head today that it would be a good thing to have a carnage thread or sticky. Have members post up pics of things that went wrong or of mistakes. I find that the best way to learn about things is the hard way. So maybe some pics of other people learning the hard way help out.

I know that it can be a sore subject so have people only post there own pics or get permission before posting other pics.

If i can find some of my old ones i will post them up.

Good idea! I know I have more than a few!
I'll have to post them later though as I don't have time right now.

If you get a replacement balancer and it goes on too easy, Chances are there is something wrong with it.
Here is what my replacement looked like after 1 week.

well, give me a week or so. i should have some interesting pics when i pull the pistons out. i doubt there is much left of any of the rings by the way the car was consuming oil when i parked it to tear it down.

Dude, it was a very stupid thing that happened. Partially my fault. My timing and nitrous tune was not the problem. I had the correct plugs, had the timing backed up properly for every 50shot, etc. I had all the safety devices but the main one was the one that screwed everything up. So I still dont know what nitrous really feels cause the one pass that it did work, I almost hit the wall like 3 times cause I was going all over the place with the slicks on and off throttle. Too much torque.

Anyway, when the WOT switch jammed up, I ended up spraying 100shot STANDING STILL, reving up the engine to 5000rpm ready to launch...And then you know the rest..

I'm not hating nitrous because of this, cause I know it's basicly my fault. My custom made plate was the problem.

That connecting rod is the reason that you dont go fast through deep puddles with a CAI in the fender
