my friend has a 95 gt convertible

3560 total weight


what amazed me is our cars weigh 500lb more in the front than the back

thats because you're motor weighs more than the rearend. I've yanked the spare tire, and all associated hardware, also the rear seat, next on my list is the passenger airbag, and front sway bar.

the easiest weight reduction is taking a jog around the block once in a while. not only do you feel better, look better, eventually, your car will go faster.

yea mine was 3362 with me in it when i weighed it at englishtown a few weeks ago, and i weigh 150 lbs, so i was pretty happy...i have jegs seats which are like 10-15 lbs lighter each, o/r h-pipe, lighter hood, completely empty trunk (mat, carpet, board, spare, jack, wrench, etc), a/c delete, etc...i was very pleased with those numbers, meaning my car weighed just about exactly 3200 lbs w/o me in it...
