weight transfer vs. weight loss

so i was thinking today that since putting the battery in the trunk can help traction somewhat, what would happen if you got aluminum heads that save you 45ish pounds off the front, and move those 45 pounds in the trunk? would that be more beneficial? or is it better to just remove the weight altogether?

I would think it would be better to just remove it, since mustangs are usually nose heavy if you remove it from the front your already helping the front to back weight ratio.

just keep the front lighter than the back so weight can transfer easier
