Check your wires first to make shore there on good. allso if your valve springs are old they could be weak

If you are pushing 80K+ milage it may be time to put new IAT and ECT sensors on the stang. I had a rattling noise under load around 4K rpm and now it is gone.

Do you know what pinging sounds like? If you don't, it will sound like rocks rattling inside a tin can.

Have you don't anything to the car in the past few weeks? Tried running the codes?

well there is such a thing as running too high of octane. if your car is mostly stock and ur running 93 then you are probably wasting money, gas and performance. higher octane requires more spark/compression to burn. there is a possibility that 93 is too much especially when you are pumping a ton of it at 5000rpms and its not burning properly. if you arent detonating with any other octane, put in lower and lower octane.

thats kinda a universal stab at it cause so many people run way too high of octane
