Weird problem

Hey guys I just built a new engine with Gt 40 heads. The car runs great at idle. When i put it into reverse sometimes dies. sometimes it goes in and then when I let off the clutch it revs alittle and almost dies or does dies. It does the same thing in first so i havent taken it on a test drive yet. Could this be a vacuum problem. thanks in advance stangneters lol
