Just got new tires and alignment and now every now and then i get a weird shimm in the wheel and the car wants to pull the right.

The tires I put on has massive grooves in them.. could that be the reason? It doesnt shimmy all the time just on certain streets.

I do know that my sway bar bushings are shot to h3LL, could that cause the shimmy? My tie rod ends, and ball joints seems OK -- I cant wiggle the tire in either direction.

help!

Did you get wider tires put on?

When I went to 17x9s every groove in the road would pull my car. If it wasn't doing it before that has to be the solution. Unless the tire guys messed with your rack or something.

Yea these tires have massive grooves in them. The tires arent wider, but the tread pattern is much different than what i had on there before.

Swap the front tires from side to side -RH tire on the LH, LH tire on the RH. If the problems follow the tire, you have a bad tire or wheel. If they don't you have a worn part or alignment problem.

Check the tread design, some tires are directional. That means they can only point one way and you cant swap side to side. If you have directional tires there is a possibility they have one front on backwards which will for sure cause the pull. If they are the same also check air pressure, and then like Richer said swap side to side. Goodyear tires are know for having radial tire pull and out of round issues even when they are brand new.
