Hey I am considering getting a set of the Weld Pro Star rims for my 94 GT with drag radials on them ( or slicks haven't decided), these will be just for the strip. But I want to know what the biggest tire that I can stuff under there. Hoping someone on here has that set up and can give a little advice. Thanks

You need to decide if your getting the 8in or 10in wide rears first.

I went with an 8 inch rim and run a 275 MT DR for the track.

Hi
I am running 3.25x50x15''s I took out the quad shocks and rolled the fender rear lip. Also beat in the inside fender well.
The anti-lock brake light comes on with this tire

What you need to look at is rpm crossing the line then decide on a gear or tire size

I have 15x10 with 295 50's....they rub when turning in a driveway at and angle but all I did was remove quad shocks...i'll try and find pics later..but i agree with the above post you don't want a 28" tall tire if you don't need it then you'll lose atlittle gear.

I have installed 15x10 Draglites with a 6 1/2" back space and a 30x9x15 Hoosier slick with no problem, fits like a glove

I have the 15X10 Prostars on my car with 28x12.50x15 ET Streets.
I had to do a little pounding with a hammer on the edge of he inner fenderwell to get enough clearance to be comfortable. Plus I don't have any quad shocks on the car.
