Has any one put 15x9 with 5 and half backspacing WELD wheels on the rear of a FOX chassis?

I have a set of 265x50x15 Tires.. was wondering if the 9 inch whide Rims
will fit????

Not the 15x9's.........but they are 15x8 with 5.5" back spacing and 265/50/15's. I had a rubbing problem on the quads and tailpipes. Had to remove the quads - flipping them did no good - and tweak the pipes a little, but they fit good now.

They will fit just like the more common 15x8 (with 5.5" BS) except be an inch wider on the outside. This will put the tire right inline with the fenderip, so you will probably want to roll that al ittle if it looks close. I considered them, but found a great deal on a set of 15x10's with 6.5" BS -- which sits at the same spot on the outside, just an inch further inside.

I would have enough room for the 15x9 >>>???????

I still want to use the 265x50x15...... THat I have,.....

You should have no problems. I currently run the 8" draglite w/5.5 BS with a 275/50/15 BFG Radial T/A with saleen lowering springs and they fit nice. (had to pull the quads) The 15X9 weld will fit. Friend of mine is runnin the 9" weld with a 295 tire. If clearance is an issue just pull the quads.

I told you they would fit...I've run 15x8's and 15x10's..with a couple different backspacings and multiple tire sizes.

I think I'm going with the 15x9's with 5 & half backspacing.... I have the 265 to put on them .,,. I cant wait to see what it looks like..

Oh..lol...I thought you were ignoring me. The wheels will fit nice...like I said I was looking at them and probably would have gotten them if I hadn't come across these.

I have a 15x10 rim with a 6.5 back spacing with 26X10X15 E/T drags with no clearnace problems.

Here's some pictures (we'll see if I can attach them!) -- these were when I was trying them on [checking for rubbing/potential interference points] -- all stock suspension/rear at the time, except for the quad shocks which will absolutely not fit with more than 5.5" BS.

EDIT: Just for clarification - these are 15x10 with 6.5" BS.

I ran 295's on the 15x8's w/ 5.5 BS

No quad shocks, and I only had to put a bungee cord on the tailpipe to keep it off the driver side tire
