I drive the car on the street all the time like this with no problems, did the same with my 89 coupe for 3 years as well everyday. Just use common sense and don't auto-x with them or anything and take turns hard and you'll have no problems, they really aren't as bad as alot of people make it out to be though.....but each to his own.

I agree with people above, 15x10 and a 7/16" spacer and some grinding on the caliper is what I did as well.

I'm running 3/4" spacers on the front with my 15x3.5's, but I'm not crazy about em. I installed longer studs, but I think I'm going to do a little grinding, so I can install thinner 7/16" spacers. I only used the thicker spacers so I wouldn't have to grind the caliper side bars, but oh well. Wanna run skinnies, gotta do it.

I grinded my calipers last night. I took off the 3/4" spacers, and reinstalled the 7/16" spacers......BAM!!!!!!! Now I'm happy. Good to go, with the longer studs, and weld open end lug nuts too!!!!!! Thank god for the SN search option, to help me out with it.

how hard is it to polish those things and keep up the maintenance, because i love the look but i'm really lazy when it comes to cleaning

not really at all

rub on mothers polish by hand until a black residue apears

then buff off with a diaper soft buffing cloth so you dont scratch.

you need to wipe it off
then go back with a clean one to buff

I got the 15 x 4 skinnies with some 165r15 and the 15 x 8 with the 275/50/15 Dr's. I'm using 7/32in wheel spacers in front with some grinding on the calipers with stock studs. I'm sure I dont have to have the spacers anymore..

I'd like to run them on my '98 GT, but it can't back up the look by running a decent number.
