Will mig welding a rear shock tower bar compromise the shocks or springs in any way due to the intense heat?

If you were thinking of buying a newwer sports car, why would you waste time on welding a junk bar that will break on the other side again?

A replacement only cost $100.

i don't see why it would. just take your time so as not to create excessive heat.

I need to stop answering questions when i'm tired.

You won't have any heat problems as long as you don't hold the arc in the same place too long. just be careful of the sparks that'll fly all over the place, try to cover up all electrical wiring and any other exposed pieces with atleast leather
