ticket for driving w/o insurance, assuming you tell the sheriff or whomever you just can't find the paper in the glovebox (no proof of insur ticket) is about $400... you have 90 days from that date to get insur on the car to waive the ticket. even if you didn't have it when you got pulled over. as long as you get it that's all they want. i did it for 2yrs n save thousands $$ but i had a bucket at the time. right now i go w/ vern fonk. just to be street legal, paying about $80 mo-basical libility w/uninsur-age 27-few speeding-accidents-and registered on 89 5.0. best i can get no one else wants me?!!Org Posted By: diamond...A ticket for driving without insurance is less than $600 isnt it?

I've had quotes as high as 600 a monh down to 130 a month. Almost all insurance companies let 1 ticket slide. If they dont' switch them out!
Don't sell your car f*** those insurance companies. They scrwe you over on monthly premiums and once you file a claim they fight you til the end of time on what yoru claim is worth. INcluding progressive.
I remember when i had some slight paint damage on my supra a long time ago. They tried to say there is no way in hell my car is worth more than $11,000.
