Also, I agree with Daggar. I've dealt with a few lawyers and some just won't do anything unless they make major money off of it. Keep trying.
I do know that in Alabama, if a vehicle is stopped illegally (ie. at a green light, on the freeway) then he is liable for your car because he shouldn't have been blocking the road.

This was meant as tongue in cheek, but also in a serious manner. Sometimes the symptoms of whiplash don't show up for a while. If you feel any kinda weird twinges at all (neck/back/hips, etc), head to the doctor and get checked out. That way your bases are covered.
I'd call this dudes insurance company and politely and respectfully tell them the story and that you realize it was called as no fault, but that you don't feel that is correct and you are retaining legal council regarding the matter and see where it get you. Don't wig out on them though.......
