even on a blown car it did not gain 1 freaking HP

http://www.modularfords.com/forums/mustang-gt/got-my-new-typhoon-intake-55016-2.html

sucks really I was hoping it would make 10hp at least.

If this is a repost sorry didnt see it

and I think it is tech due to discussing a new product

Seems like it did good in the mustang tests done in the 5.0 mag but I have been waiting for real world numbers and im glad you posted this....I cant wait until some more people try this thing out its hard to believe they are all bad with only 1 car having it installed.

AHAHAHAHA complete junk. I really didnt expect much out of it...and to think people already bought these things, and will continue to .

Im going to look into this IC cooler from NOS . Maybe after the forged motor...ill already be past the limit of the stocker lol.

Well, look on the bright side. A CAI is no longer the red headed stepchild of mods.

lmao :Word:

The stock PI intake manifold is nearly perfectly designed for a NA 2v... Why can't we except this and move on

that is all

EDIT: yes, I feel sorry for the guy who put up the money for the manifold, swap and dyno, but from the second that 5.0 article came out, I cant believe people would still expect anything out of this POS w/o raised compression, p/p heads, cams etc.

Now maybe people will listen to what some of us were saying since the magazine BS test was published...those gains were mostly from the upper plenum/TB combo not the intake...the POS PP intake is half the cost of a Bullitt intake kit. That guy in the thread above would have most likely gained 25rwhp across the curve with the Bullitt...atleast that is the gains i have seen from it.
Another loss for Chinese Knockoffs!!!!!

Made in China POS what do you expect?
Don't waste your money and put it toward something else.

Well I have raised compression, P&P heads and CAms.. but to tell ya the truth if it didnt make 1 HP on a blown stock motor I dont see me trying it either.

For those who bought it, sell your stocker for $200 and you will feel a little better.
