as some of you seen myrecent post "WHO HAS THE BIGGEST" well so much for that i just ordered my bullit's tonight and they are on back order for like 3 weeks :notnice: the other thing is they dont recommend that i put a 335 on a 10.5 wheel :notnice:. and they dont make the bullet in a 11" wheel in either 17's or 18's so he say's? :nonono: DAMN so i guess i will have to go with the norm......... will post pics. when they get here, as long as the interrior which should be done on the 24th of the month  peace

Yeah, 315's are pretty good. As for rubbing on the quad it depends, are you getting the deep lip (stupid question?). I had the 10.5" with 315 yoko's, but they were the standard lip. Rubbed like crazy on the quad and would actually rub on the inner fender going into a driveway at an angle. I dont think this would be a problem with the deep lip. Have you considered Torq-Thrust 2's? They make em in the charcoal finish and you can get 11" with custom back spacing to make that 335 work. just a thought.

I can tell you from experience that the 315 gsd3 fits very well on the 10.5 deep dish bullitt wheel. I shoved a 335 pilot sport on there and it was a serious biotch getting everything to clear the IRS. I made it work though. I used a 3/8" undy spacer, shaved the IRS bolt (it still hit it though when unloaded) and I had to roll the fender lip (I actually just cut it instead of rolling it).

I was lowered on the eibach pro kit and on big bumps it would still hit the fender with the 335's. I also had to finess the inner wheel well with a sledge hammer in a couple spots but it was worth it.

The 315 is a much easier tire to fit. In all honesty though, I think the contact patch was identical to the 315 because the 335 bowed since it was only a 10.5 wheel. A 11" wheel is ideal for a 335.

Any of the guys who saw my "stance" can verify that the 315's and 335's looked pretty sick.

ben as i stated the guy said the 335's will bow and cut down on wear life and at $800.00 for two thats not good and to start they only get like 30,000 miles out of them i beleive he said?:nonono: undercover4.6 i want to go with the same tire as the front's which are yok's ES100's but they dont make them in a 315 nor a 335. the biggest they come in 275 which is what i have now that are comming off the ass to the front so what yok's did you have in 315 size? tarch i have my quads off cause i've done upper and lower rear control arm's and i havent really noticed any diffrence with them off! i have some 3/8 spacers on now with the stock tri spoke rims, the only reason i did this was to get rid of that ugly offset that the stock rims on the S/N 95'S have. ben so are you saying you had 10.5's or 11" rim's? so to bascially sum it up i'll prob go with the pilot's i was thinking bout the F1's but ive seen them on other stangs and they really dont look much wider then my 275's atleast i dont think so. you know it's weird that my 275 nitto D/R'S looked skinner then my 275 yok's do? and they are both 275/45/17's? peace

Cool, mine were 10.5's and yes the 335's bowed and did not fit as good as the 315.

Keep this in mind as you go out on your search. The widest 315 on the market is the Goodyear GSD3. All tires are not the same width even though they say they are. My 315 GSD3 was 1.25 inches wider than my 315 Nitto 555R on the same 10.5 wheel. There is no 315 on the market wider than the GSD3, it is the ultimate 315. Plus it is hard as a rock, so you will burn right through any wheel hop you might have and the tread life is great. If it is traction you want though, this tire is kind of hard compared to others. It will last you a long time even with plenty of burn outs. Trust me on this one.

How long? I have 315 DR's on my rear now and getting close to replacing them after about 10k.

I was looking at the GSD3, and wasn't sure if they were soft rubber compound (great ratings on traction) that'd I'd have to replace often like my DR's. Edit: Looks like treadwear of 280 and my DR are 100

How would you say the wet traction is for everyday driving? More specifically how would you do at 60mph in standard NW rainy weather. Right now I'm slowing down 50mph or below on I-5 with my BFG DR and that sucks, but the dry traction is awesome.

They worked great in the rain. That is why I got them, the Nitto 555R made my butt clench too much.

i beleive you on this. cause i dont know if i stated this in my recent post's on this subject ? but my 275's nitto D/R'S are skinner then my 275 yokes? glad i finially got on tonight i'll have to go change my order tomorrow when i get up to the GSD3's ohhhhh yeah baby :D

This might help you make you decision. 315 GSD3's on 10.5 Black with polished lip Bullitts. This is with a 1" spacer. they just tucked under the lip with the 3/8 spacer. Sorry I don't have a pic of that.

 It would take a pretty weak Mustang to get 30k miles out of a tire. I'm lucky to get 10k. Maybe it's my driving style. :nonono: As Undercover4.6 will tell you, I don't even get a tread life warranty at Les Schwab. It's been that way since I started buying tires there 11 years ago.
