beasts car ran a 14.4 burning the tires off in 1-2nd I know cuz i was taping the run lol, jon you have nothing to worry about!!! i believe my vert will run that or better, its very fast for being stock(heads, cam that is).....

i bet you if he slapped some radailas on there he will get a better time...like a 14.1 or 14.2....

mine went 13.9999999999999999 bone stock except for an offroad 4 years ago when i first got it. and i complained about traction then! lol
ill have a new combo come spring :d...been talking to my buddy who has some parts left over from his race car he said i can have fore cheap........
pretty much will be a whole new top end....heads, upper lower, tb ect...bottom end wont be touched this year though...

yeah i ran it beofre for 3 passes then called it a night...but it will be taken back in spring...THAT WAY I CAN SHOVE IT IN ALL YOUR FACES WITH A HIGH 14 SEC TIME SLIP IN STOCK FORM!!!
i took my car to the track when my parents went out of town..had my buddy who is older drive it there and make two runs...then i slipped and did a last run and got a....

id like to do some suspension stuff to...just some upper lower control arms and a set of sub frames before i head back again...I'm thinking of going to nor walk though...everyone i have talked to said its prepped very well and that's where they have cut there best times....but its 2+ hours away...
i dont think i will a guy on a local mustang forum in a 87 GT is runing out of the box gt40p heads trickflow upper and lower and is making 257rwhp....i think i can get close to that with the mods im going to use and with the heads I will be using will be mildly ported... i think i can get there...but we will see come spring...

I made 258/295 with my E7s, stock cam, and unported Cobra intake. The same exact combo with a better exhaust made 272/316 4 years ago. Not sure where all the power went, but I could see a stock cammed GT40 car doing that (I wont say what ours made). The auto will kill your dyno numbers though, but with a 5-speed shouldn't be hard.
14.98 is faster than mine when it was a stock AOD car. It went 15.2 I think, maybe a 15.3 @ 90 or so. Street tires with a 2.4 60' and not a hint of tire spin!

yeah but the ET streets helped me alot...
the first run was a 15.66 with a 2.3 60' @ 89mph on street tires...(of engine idel)
second run was a 15.23 with a 2.1 60' @ 92mph on ET streets (launched 1,100)
third run and the best run was with ET streets got a 2.0' with a 14.98 @ 94mph..
the tires are what got it into the very high 14's without them i think the best i would of been able to bring it down would of been to a 15.20...tires helped a ton..i only spun a few feet and the 1-d-1 helped for sure...
