Beautiful car! I'm sure you'll enjoy the hell out of it. I personally would have gotten the 2011 5.0, but hey different strokes. You're driving 400+ ponies of American Muscle and that is a VERY GOOD THING. Have fun.

I agree, the new 5.0 is better performance wise. I do like the look of the camaro and it's no slouch, It's a beast. Enjoy her!!!

i got the Camaro as more of a cruiser and to keep stock. i have a 69 camaro that i beat on when i wanna go fast. The 5.0 was an option but i found a camaro exactly how i wanted it.

heads and cam Carbed LS1 with a stage two T56 4.11 posi gears in a currie 9" axle.

ill advised

While I prefer the Mustang I agree with this wholeheartedly.

WTF, you trade up to Camaro and then don't do a comparison review?

the 5.0 i wanted would have been special order. i really like my heavy chevy. i was considering settling for a used gt500 but the fear or used cars, especially supercharged ones detoured my thoughts.

Congrats with your new 2011 Camaro SS. Test drove 3 of them last year and they are beast.

Likewise with the used gt500 as there ain't nothing better than a spankin brand new car except for the price.

I drove the camaro last month and if you wanna know about its visibility well here it is. Kinda crappy side views all around. You might miss a motorcycle or a MINI in you blindsides... The rear window not too bad although it's small your not looking back too much. And believe it or not that is not what made me not want one anymore. I drove it around for a bit and found that the power was great and the car felt pretty agile and solid. It was actually the room inside the car. The car feels like after a couple months of driving in it I would feel crampt ( I would know I drive a MINI now didnt think about that when I bought it though). The Mustang interior just felt like it gas more room and would make a better daily car. The camaro does have some very nice looks tho...

Another thing that chevy did that kinda bothered me was that they used 2 different engines in the V8 the LS3 out of the vette for the manual and the L99 for the auto so if you buy the auto I feel like your getting ripped off

Just my .02

Congrat's on the Camaro! It's a nice looking car. I am down with all-American muscle cars. I would own one to go next to my '11 GT, unfortunately it's not in the budget. Enjoy your new car!

i big like a charger if you have ever driven one. you can tell the car is heavy and holds its self well in corners. i gotta say that the stock shifter is awesome. very stiff with no slop. i love it.

viability does suck and the sun visors are a novelty since they are only about 3 fingers tall.

all in all i think it is a step above my 2008 GT especially in the power department. that LS3 can pull and pass traffic just fine in 5th gear. so far im getting better mileage than my gt.

Think GEARS! 4.10s make the Camaro big tires work. And, you don't even need to recal the speedometer.
