Well, I went to my first NMRA event today and I was overwhelmed to say the least. It rained at like 9:30 but cleared up quickly. There wasn't really that many people there, but it still was fun as hell.
I felt like a kid in a candy store.Talk about sensory overload. The event was like a procharger festival(which was cool with me).I saw Doug Mangrum and Don Walsh Jr.'s cars up close and I can't get over how big and complex everything is on their cars.Especially their s/c and intercooler.OMG.
I really wanted to run my car after seeing how small the fields were but lack of traction and the t-5 kept me from trying my luck.I can't wait til next year.

Oh and the first car I saw of the day snapped his driveshaft as I was walking by to my seat. That was pretty nifty.
