and before i started taping them i cleaned em real good. then i rubbed em down with a scrubby pad. well i figured since i was going to go the hassle i might as well clean the lights 1st. so got some rubbing compound out and started. got a lil suprised!
didnt have to paint them after all. no sandpaper, just rubbed em with some rubbing compound and then some swirl and scratch remover! :nice:

They look much better, but I bet you noticed even a bigger improvement if you wet sanded with a 1500 grit first.

This is a GREAT and MUST cosmetic enhancement for ALL of us.!!

that suxs about ur light man. i was just at ffw here in atl and there where tons of tailights 4 sale. check the classifieds, im sure ull find one.
when i got my bucket of water and scrubby i had planned on hittin it wit some sandpaper, but i just couldnt find it! :rolleyes: and wit no taillights i couldnt drive.
